Architectural and lighting, it means a whole profession. The lights were off this evening. It made the church look stunning in a very different way. I was imagining how the whole area looked once, almost two centuries ago now. I imagine that often walking the neighborhood. And i do it a lot. One of my main city roots. It is so calm. essential. Today I was closer to the old times I can only imagine. But from all that imagination, it the amusement didn't last that long. It was just like I was imagining. After skipping the short admiring part to this ability of mine it made me think about a completely different thing. How lighting affects the architecture. Today some projects are done side by side with lighting projects, architectural and lighting design can be joined together from the start of the process, they combine they pose questions and give answers. But before architecture didn't depend on the lights, at all. Their pure "beauty" comes out with the lights off.
